Prehistoric Art Planning
Introduction
Living in a cave is pretty cool! And the food, although it's not fast food, isn't bad. The Time Machine has dropped you in a prehistoric era. Enjoy the adventure.
Imagine that the Time Machine is sponsoring a contest to see who can create the best museum display of the art of prehistoric times. You have one museum room and can show 10 pieces.
1.Enter the contest by writing an essay on what 10 pieces you
would display and why.
2. Create your own painting in the style of prehistoric people.
(Only use 8.5 x 11 plain white paper).
3. On the bottom of your essay write the URL (web address) of two sites
that you visited.
4. On the bottom of your painting write a short one or two sentences
explaining what you think cave drawings have in common.
Be sure to use Times Roman typestyle - size 12 - double spaced.
Use the planning sheet at the end of this webquest. (The planning sheet will be passed out in class).

When you view the cave paintings, remember, they are at different areas of the world, however, many of them have much in common. Can you figure out what is common to most cave paintings? On the bottom of your cave drawing in one or two sentences tell what you believe is most common in cave paintings.
