St. Anthony School

 

This year 7th grade will be concentrating on two different aspects of literature.  First, they will be doing independent reading which will be assessed through Accelerated Reader.  Students will be taking quizzes on their reading comprehension, vocabulary and literacy skills. In addition to independent reading, students will be focusing as a group on works of literature in the Prentice Hall literature series.  We will be covering novels, poetry, and all different types of literature. Assessment will be done through standard methods. It should be a fun and exciting year for 7th graders.  Webquests will be used to add to student enrichment and knowledge of literature and background of stopries read in class
